I saw Mrs. M after nearly two weeks today. With her deteriorating memory, I half expected her to not remember me but I needn’t have worried - the minute she spotted me, her face just lit up 🥹

It was a reminder of why I enjoy these social visits. How rewarding they can be.

As before, I wheelchair-ed her to the hospital cafeteria and indulged in an ice cream treat as we chatted the hour away.

Hopefully she’ll be home by the time my next visit comes about 🤞
