Today was a very straightforward morning Mission for Jenni and I – to clear some bedroom furniture to accommodate the arrival of a new hospital bed. In fact, the bed that was there already must have been pretty new, as it still had a lot of it’s packaging on it and the castors were not even attached yet. Nevertheless our instructions were to ditch it so we stripped the bedding and carried it down through the building to the courtyard where it could bask in the sun until it was collected.

A simple job quickly and efficiently completed, we set off into the haze of the July morning as London prepared to welcome two guests over from the New World - Michael Bublé and Donald J. Trump.
