Five fabulous runners ran to help Get Active Berkshire promote their new free boxing and rugby clubs in Britwell by distributing flyers

It was a cold and rainy evening but we weren't going to be down for the count... we zipped up, wrapped up, put the mouth guards in and headed out for another long run... we were going to go the distance today

20 minutes in we took time out to collect Rachel and Jagdeep en route.. Jagdeep was in his ninja outfit again and ready to knockout some flyers

We reached the library and had a few streets earmarked as priority... so we divided into 2 teams did the Haka challenge and went off to crash tackle those letterboxes

With a forward pass from Ricky to Rachel they were first past the line and ready for their next charge down

Jagdeep was literally ducking and diving and no where to be seen with his All Blacks outfit

Sally was our fly(er) weight champion! She used her fast feet to box-kick those leaflets out

SAVED BY THE BELL Time was up... group photo was done... and we were off the ropes and heading back to base

A huge thank you to all our runners this evening for braving the elements and getting stuck into the task

Next week we are back at The Jubilee River Riverside Centre to do some work in the boat yard

MISSION NEWS Slough is now off the mark and has completed its first mission Manjit and Jenni helped move a sofa for Mr A so that his wifes hospital bed could be delivered

Have a great week Manjit
