Lulu and I met outside the property on a warm and muggy day, soon to be met by A from the Red Cross who gave us access to the apartment. We realised we wouldn't need any tools to dismantle the bed as it easily came apart into 3 bits. Despite the humidity we made quick work of bringing the bed and the rather heavy king-sized mattress down the stairs and to the bins to be collected. A was lovely and stayed as she wanted to do a bit of vacuum cleaning before the hospital bed would be delivered and Mr D arrived home from hospital the following day. She should join GoodGym!
