Took advantage of cat-sitting locally in Cat-ford, to go make time to help out at a volunteer session at GGL local favourite Wildcat Wilderness.

Thanks to the combination of rain and sunshine, the nettles have been flourishing and need clearing on a weekly basis. So I got to work with my trusty weed-slasher, Mike spent the entirety of the 3 hour session trying to dig out a metal pipe (another GG fave task - Oli!!!) and Elodie did gardening like a normal person.

At the end we all sat in a clearing amongst the willow trees and had our lunches and enjoyed some of Maria’s delicious ginger cake.
