Tonight, 5 of Luton's finest met at the Greenhouse Community Hub in Stopsley to help with some painting in the new space they have, which will soon be a community cafe. 4 of the team set out from town and ran just shy of 3 km to our task, where we meeting Rebeccawho was walking to the task. On our run to Stopsley we passed Kevin from ABCD-IN-LUTON, it was lovely to see him and we look forward to teaming up with him again soon. After arriving, we set about our task. We were giving the toilets its first coat on new plaster. We did this with a water/pva glue solution, which went on quite nicely. Lizzy nearly blinded herself painting the ceiling and Duncangot to grips with all the high areas. Ella dealt with all the fiddly bits and I took some photos, climbed a ladder and misbehaved. We had fun and after washing up our brushes and rollers, we set off back to our starting points. I'm sure there'll be lots more to do at this project and we look forward to helping out in the near future. Well done team
