Sunday afternoon I visited the Luton Blood Donor centre in St George’s square for my first donation of the year. Always a positive experience, the nurses are so friendly and welcoming. After my donation I enjoyed 2 large glasses of squash and a biscoff biscuit, while having a nice chat with another donor. Will be back again later in the year, I encourage anyone who is able to give blood to just go for it! You could be helping someone who really needs it.
