This wasn’t what I expected to deal with when I went round to the lovely Ms L’s to help with some sorting out. However, she’d had a hoist installed as her Motor Neurone Disease is rapidly reducing her mobility and lot of things had been moved to get it into place. One of the things that had moved was Alexa’s plug and it hadn’t been properly put back in, so after a while we got it both playing the 1960s ‘mixtapes’ that Ms L loves and being able to unlock her front door -both very important!

There was quite a lot of moving of things around in her spare bedroom as most of the things from her bedroom had to put in there to accommodate the hoist. I found a few papers that she needed to go through with a friend and we had a lovely catch up over a cuppa.
