The lovely Ms Y hadn’t got much on the list when I got there, so we did a virtual trip round the Downham Co-Op and added some of her favourites - fairies, apple pies and plain Pringles. She was pleased that the latter had both a 50p off offer but a similar reduction on the member weekly benefits.

Before the shop I helped her hang out her washing to her very exacting requirements.
