Driven Forward is an amazing charity which aims to prevent food waste and provide food to individuals and families in need. Their community fridge facility in Windsor was in need of a deep clean, and 5 GoodGymers answered the call to come and help. It was great to welcome Michelle back for her second task, as well as Samuel from Slough and Sula back from her travels. Everything needed to be cleaned - the beautiful bow-windows with olde worlde panes inside and out were tackled by Sula, Michelle and Samuel. Rachel made a start on the inside , and was joined by Sheila who was a late arrival due to a slight navigational error. All the shelves, drawers and fridges had to be emptied of their contents, thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, and the food returned. The work was interspersed at intervals by cries of delight from Tiia, the taskowner, who was excited to see her premises looking clean and shiny again . Thanks also to Spark for being so well behaved. It was a very satisfying task, and great to be able to support such a worthwhile charity. We have promised to make a return visit in a couple of months
