Another visit to Mrs L who needed her garden clearing and hedges trimmed back.
Lots of grass and sticky willy (Galium aparine) had overgrown against the backdrop of ferns, poppies, and roses. The combination of hand pulling, raking, and a very good flymo lawn mower managed to clear the garden as much as possible. More intricate weeding was required in amongst the flowers.
Additional weeding near the brickwork, driveway, and entry gate, plus a lot of loose leaves meant the garden waste bin was full to the brim, with the garden looking much clearer and Mrs L very happy to see the flowers looking pride of place.
There was additional lopping of branches from a large bush, with the branches piled up to break down over time.
Once tools and equipment was cleared away, we had a brief chat and catch up and we'll likely be back to take on the larger hedges in the back yard.
