Camden Report written by Lydia Crawford
The sun finally remembered how to shine after what seemed like a never ending torrent of rain and thunderstorms, just in time for this Saturday's GoodGym Mission.
Mrs S had asked for some help in her garden, a space that she enjoys coming into for her morning coffee or tea in the evening if the weather is kind enough.
Leaves needing sweeping, weeds needing pulling, bushes needed trimming and a garden table needed assembling. 2 full bags later, Mrs S was so thankful for all the help and was excited to see her garden back in a usable state again. Good thing the sun is out so she can start using it straight away....

It'll help Mrs S feel on top of tasks and keep a nice garden

6 GoodGymers catch a touch of Sunday nature!
Tucked between the Heath and Highgate Road is a fresh looking school called Parliament Hill, and nestled between the building and the fence is a beautifully cultivated green haven, which was our home for the morning!
Thanks to local volunteers — from a wonderful group called Growing Green — a one-time playing field has been turned into a collection of mini meadows, growing patches, and natural habitats!
And this fabulous group — of DaMarcus, Harvey, Lauren (on their first good deed — welcome!), Leora, and Lydia — made a meaningful difference on multiple fronts and all while chatting up a Sunday morning storm :)
Thank you, everyone! Catch you soon!

12 GoodGymers climbed into the rooftop breeze during Wednesday's heat wave!
We were back at the Greenwood Centre in Kentish town this week.
A regular haunt for us since January, we turned up to work the final touches ahead of the many gardens' public tours in early June!
And while we've been here in the cold and the wet and the dark of winter, we've never been here in a smoking heat wave!..
...until last night!
And so our wonderful group arrived in hats and sunscreen and with plenty of water to boot!
We welcomed Hana (on their first good deed – welcome!) as well as many wonderful regular faces: Caitlin, Ellen, Emilie, Gary, John, Jackie, Karen, Lydia, Siobhan, and Theo!
The group did so much that it was impossible for me to keep up, but I do know that we left our host Catherine feeling very pleased about the fantastic work everyone did!
And... with Karen's birthday around the corner... Ellen provided sweet celebrations with fabulous cake and strawberries! Thank you, Ellen! Happy Birthday, Karen!
Thank you, everyone! Here's to next time!

9 GoodGymers made a real difference at Kentish Town City Farm!
This lovely group — Caitlin, Deirdre, Emily, Giulia, Jacqui, Karen, Lydia, Matt, and Pritika — caught a well-spent and community-filled morning at Kentish Town City Farm on Sunday!
Together they got everything ready for the Farm's annual May Day celebrations!
💚 Karen and Giulia cleaned fences and took them up to the top field!
💚 Emily and Matt carried an animal cage up to the top field and almost got lost!
💚 Deirdre, Lydia, Pritika, and others helped carry tables a long way!
💚 And everyone hung up bunting!... alongside saying hello to the animals 🐷
Thank you, everyone! And thank you, Emily, for the photos and report!
