Simone and Claudia met at the Food Bank Aid this afternoon and spent few hours helping out organise all the food deliveries.
We were joined by another Food Bank volunteer and the three of us worked none stop to complete what seemed like an impossible task.
We got there and there were food bags and Sainsbury’s and Tesco crates everywhere. Have a look at the before and after pictures.
The team did a cracking job!
Keep up the great work.

Litter picking is an effective way to reduce the amount of waste in our environment. By picking up litter, we can prevent it from ending up in our rivers, oceans, or on the side of the road. It also helps to keep our local environment clean and healthy, which is essential for our well-being. Litter picking can also improve your mental health and well-being by providing a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment, connecting with people, and keeping you active
thanks you for your efforts in November.
please go again in December and share!

I'm never sure how to log the litter pick but had a lovely afternoon clearing up at a park near one of my friends (she's not in Goodgym so have covered her face). So many bottles and food containers but also a collection of shopping baskets which we have returned back to the supermarket in question. Couldn't display my Goodgym top as it was just too cold! Think we need a Goodgym winter hat instead now.

Loads to do today at the food bank!
Laura Creek and Cloud spent an hour an a half at the hub today. We have unloaded a couple of supermarket cages full of milk, jelly, washing up liquid and beans.
Never a dull day at the bank!

Twelve Runners looked to support the citizens advice barnet (CAB) by delivering leaflets to nearby streets in Hampstead Garden suburb and East Finchley. We warmed up and played truth or lie before hitting the streets. Do we really have a professional American football player, somebody born in Iran, somebody whose favourite colour is purple, a Portuguese terrorist and a fugitive from the Mexican authorities?
looks like some of us might be needing cab ourselves!
The Citizens Advice Barnet is a charity that provides free, independent, and impartial advice to millions of people every year in communities across England and Wales. Let’s hope some of our leafleting finds some generous supporters. Certainly, the security cars in the local Streets were interested in what we were doing- one even asked for a leaflet! We managed to deliver most of the leaflets before having to return back to the Phoenix Cinema for a little stretch.
thanks to the two runners from the citizens advice barnet Louise and Jack come again soon! Well done for your work in the community!
Great to see Ben, Francesco, Penny and Abby again! Give them a cheer!
To end some of us had hot chocolate at the Phoenix Cinema. Yummy!
Thanks to all for coming running and doing some good!
