Sock it to ‘em!

Wednesday 13th July 2022

Written by Kate Frain

Last night our lovely GoodGym-ers went to the Little Green Sock project to help them sort and distribute support packages to those who are experiencing clothing poverty. We managed 7 whole bags!

We also helped LGSP celebrate winning £10k funding for their continued work. Brilliant!

Well done and thanks all!

Top of the socks!

Wednesday 1st June 2022

Written by Kate Frain

Last night we returned to the Little Green Sock project to see how things had progressed since we helped them clean up their new premises a few months back.

The transformation is nothing short of anazing and we were blown away by what has already been achieved.

We helped sort and pack up items that had been donated to support referred families who are experiencing clothing poverty in Trafford.

It was lovely to see the brilliant Cat again and to help one of our newest groups.

Thanks and well done all!

Another task bites the dust for Little Clean Green Sock Project!

Wednesday 30th March 2022

Written by Kate Frain

We were delighted to be able to help the Little Green Sock Project work on their gifted premises!

Battling wind and sleet, we ran to meet the co-founder Cat on site who explained about the need to address clothing poverty for families in Trafford. The new project will get referrals from health contacts and will provide support parcels to families with tiny babies right up to young people.

With about ten years of dust to tackle, we did a clean sweep of the whole area ready for the next phase of cleaning and for the donations to arrive.

A lovely evening and a great chance to help a fab charity on its way early in its journey. Look out for community missions and future group sessions to help with donations!

Thanks and well done all, Kate xx
