Bromley parkrun

A free, fun and friendly weekly 5k community event at 9am on Saturdays in Norman Park, Bromley

Parkrun is a global movement of free, weekly, 5k community events held every Saturday morning, with 2k events for children (ages 4–14) on Sundays.

Founded in the UK in 2004, it operates on a simple ethos: free for everyone, forever. Participants can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate at their own pace.

The Bromley parkrun takes place on Saturdays at 9am in Norman Park, a 25-minute walk from Bromley South station.

Rock up, support, bag a PB and get to know Bromley's vibrant running community.

4 GoodGymers have supported Bromley parkrun with 22 tasks.

parkrun x GoodGym – Bromley edition

Saturday 10th October

Written by Sam Rider - Bromley Area Activator (he/him)

On Saturday morning a remarkable 738 parkrunners – including a handful of GoodGymers past and present – assembled in Norman Park for the weekly 5K.

It was heart warming to see a sprinkling of GoodGym T-shirts amid the mass of runners, young and old, lending a hand with set-up and marshalling.

Special mention to Ian for dusting off his top to show solidarity, and Lucy, a seasoned parkrunner, making her GoodGym debut.

It was lovely to grab a coffee post-run in the Trackside Café too. Hoping we can make this a more regular feature, possibly earmarking one Saturday per month for a GoodGym run + social.
