This Saturday morning 5 Goodgymers came along to volunteer at Hillside Gardens with the Friends Of group.
Catherine, Tracey and I had a go at clearing leaves (and weeding the path) in the dog-free area. Meanwhile, Vanessa and Frederic (congrats on getting your first deed in with Goodgym!) had a go at litter picking.
As tasks were completed we began dead-headding some bushes and weeding. We finished off with a coffee before parting ways. A very productive session for the start of the year! ๐

GoodGym Runner
Vanessa has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Vanessa is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.
Vanessa earned their community cape by completing their first community mission. ๐

Vanessa earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Vanessa completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Vanessa was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

The weather is colder, the nights are longer and it's time for Clapham TRAID to switch up their stock. After the shop shut to the public, GoodGymers got to work taking clothes off hangers and packing them into huge cardboard boxes, ready for them to be shipped back to the warehouse for sorting. We even found a GoodGym t-shirt in the mix - one that had seen a lot of good deeds judging by how worn it was! We had the chance to put our memory skills to the test in the miscellaneous shoe department too, matching up the "sole" mates.
