Windy Jabby Friday!!

Fri 19 Feb
Report written by Meera Mistry

It was a slow start in the morning and lucky no rain! They had an outside cabin next to the GP Practice - lovely to meet all the people and the morning went very quick. Good to come back and everything went smoothly. Had little help from Tracey's little one and starting Goodgym early :) Overall success despite the Northern winds!!

It’s in the bag

Wed 10 Feb
Report written by Elaine Jackson

Well done to our lovely team of GoodGymers who managed to pack:

  • lots of lunch bags for those in temporary accommodation;
  • even more vegetable bags for Trafford veterans

in super speedy time to help Reach out to the Community and St Matthews Hall with their essential Covid response work.

It was (possibly) the final Trafford mission for Clare and Anders as they prepare to relocate to pastures new. We’ll miss you and appreciate all the help you have offered.

Thanks and well done!

Steamed up in a hygienic cold shower

Sun 13 Dec
Report written by Gwyn Williams

It was a cold, wet, windy day for our run for the Hygiene Bank. We (G&T) decided to run (5k) first then walk to the bank at Boots. A good job too: if we had run there, we'd have been in a fog of steamed up glasses!

As this was a DIY task undertaken by various GoodGym-ers from different areas we have shared the reporting :-D

I collated all sorts of donations from the GoodGym Trafford gang and dropped them off at Withy Baths for the Manchester branch of the Hygiene Bank to pick up and distribute.

Well done and thanks to everyone who took part. You are all awesome!

A special shout out to Kate who completed her first GG mission! Well done!
