A sun filled evening at Hackney City farm featuring bamboo chopping, tree cutting, with bonus baby goats and petting Bear the Donkey.

A good gym staple task helping out at Bethnal Green Food Bank.

We met with GG legend John who was still on task from the earlier shift, before heading off to ANOTHER GG task.

John introduced Fiona and myself to the task owners Andy and Sue who tasked us with moving some donations to the supply rooms before starting a stock take in the store room. We must have counted and recorded a few thousand items each before our brains fried and it was time to clear up and head off, with some of the regular volunteers heading to The Approach pub opposite for some well earned refreshments.

Four Goodgym members arrived at the foodbank eager to support the team for the evening shift.

Leo set to work in the stock room making sure everything was organised and clean.

Thor and Kim were counting the number of food parcels provided throughout the day and what they contained to support the charity's planning and reporting.

Eva was helping with the sign up process so everyone received the correct parcel and also monitored the surplus lemons so everyone got their fair share of fresh citrus.

After a good job completed by all some went on to the local pub for a well earned pint.
