I revisited Ms D to finish a big task Iād started previously, helping to move the last of her paperwork into the recycling. It felt good to complete the job, and she was really pleased to have the support.
I cleared the remaining paperwork and also moved an old stereo out of the way, leaving the space much less cluttered and easier to navigate. It's always satisfying to see a practical task through to the end, especially when it makes someone's home feel a little safer and more manageable.

Ms D has recently undergone heart surgery so is unable to raise her arms and do this task. This would make Ms D more comfortable in her recovery.

Redbridge Report written by Sam Chapman
This evening I headed out to help a vulnerable older person by cutting back an overgrown hedge and tree that had begun to obstruct access to their property.
I was welcomed by Ms Bās carer, who showed me the areas that needed attention before I got to work. Armed with shears, loppers and plenty of enthusiasm, I carefully cut back the hedge and trimmed the overhanging tree branches, creating a much clearer and safer route to the property.
The transformation was immediate, with the entrance looking tidier, brighter and much more accessible.
