Man-ure good with a w-hill-barrow
Do Tuesday nights get any better than this? What a treat for George's first good deed!
A bit of running and walking, a lot of chatting and much barrowing of manure and weeding - all in glorious sunshine and great company, including pigs, goats and chickens.
Lots of puns about the cost of inflation (of the tyres) and the rising cost of barrowing, and the disappointment that the downhill wheelbarrow sprint wasn't long enough to qualify as a strava segment. The only sadness of a beautiful night where those who weren't running back downhill stayed to help with the final (?) few barrows of manure down to the farm.

Group Run - 10 May - Bramble Hill Farm Ahoy!

It's Tuesday so it's a group run, meeting in (and returning to) Queen Square and leaving there at 6.30 - bring your gloves!
We’re spreading GoodGym loveliness in at Bramble Hill Farm - it’s uphill on the way so lovely downhill on the way back, 5K in total with the task in the middle 🙂
Changing facilities, lockers and loos are available at Workout Harbourside - bring your own padlock or inventive personal prized possession to swap for one of theirs if you want to lock your, er, locker. Otherwise it’s just an er. Make sure you’re back out in Queen Square for 6.20!

Pick-ture perfect

We had the best time picking litter along the riverbank of the Avon. The views were perfect, the litter plenty and easy to pick. The time just flew by chatting and hunting for discarded goods. Can't wait to go back soon!
Very big shout out to Helen for earning her first good deed with this task. She even rbought her own litter pickers - what a star!
Thanks for Russ for the photos and to everyone else for making this task so enjoyable!
