Community Cape

Julie Brociek-Coulton earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.

Julie completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Julie was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

We Zumba-d through the task this evening!

Norwich Report written by Emily

I loved going to this task since it's just over half a kilometre from my door! Since I ran to the gym earlier I figured it was fine for me to walk, and I met Dave on the way so we had a nice catch up. Brad met us there after running the long way from our house - just under 5k!

We were greeted by Julie and the other volunteers who had been hard at work that afternoon, clearing out rooms and moving all the books from one room to another to make space for the food bank. There were piles of boxes full of trinkets and some rather questionable items (I'll leave that to your imagination!) that needed to be moved to another room, so we set to it.

Within 25 minutes of arriving, we'd cleared the huge pile in the middle of the floor so the Zumba class could go ahead at 7:15pm. A job well done, I think!
