Get fit, do good, get social

Wed 22 Feb 18:45 pm
Old Spike Roastery, 54 Peckham Rye, London, SE15 4JR
Sprucing up Peckham

It's that time of the week. Come and run with us ! Whoop.

We'll meet from 1845 in order to run at 1900. You can leave your things at Old Spike Roastery as we will lock it up.

Then it's off to a community organisation to help out for 30 - 45minutes whilst also building up a sweat.

Once we're done, we'll do some strength work and make sure we're running efficiently. Then it's back to Old Spike to be done by 2030.

We're off to The Rye Pub for 2045 for a drink / snack afterwards

See you there!

Check back for more details soon.

Love your borough!

Spreading the GoodGym love this valentines week

For many people, this week is another Hallmark cheesy celebration but run with love with fellow people from Southwark.

We'll meet from 18:45 at Old Spike Roastery where you can leave your things. We'll set off at 1900 and run to Nunhead Green Salvation Army. We did a coat of paint for them back in January and need to finish the job so they can get their community coffee group going. No best gear and lots of arm enthusiasm!

Once we've finished up, it'll be time to run back to Old Spike via a circuits session!

You'll be back at Old Spike and stretched for 2030 so you can head home happy with an evening's work.

A load of muck

Sat 11 Feb 09:45 am
Surrey Docks Farm, Rotherhide Street, London, SE16 5ET
get fit, do good, smell great

It's that time - daylight tasks so we can enjoy our fave locations!

We're meeting at Surrey Docks Farm at 0945 in order to run at 1000. Space for locking up personal items is limited so only bring what you need if possible!

We'll head off for a lovely jog along the Thames and a bit of core work before heading back to the farm. This session is a load of muck! We need to move the muck heap for them to make room for a new muck heap. So we'll be wheel barrowing, shovelling and walking around the farm get it done. Nose clips are optional but it'll be great fun and really useful to this amazing city farm. There will also be other jobs just as weeding, sweeping the yard, farm maintenance so if the idea of moving muck is a bit much then you do have alternatives!

We'll work hard for an hour and then cool down finishing up by 1130. Breakfast at the farm cafe is also an option if you've worked up an appetite!
