We are so happy to get to the end of this lockdown and what could be better than helping CoLab get ready for opening again!
CoLab supports and runs a number of different community projects across our city and they also have small community garden linked to their building. Our job will be to help them sort out this lovely green space. So, get your garden gloves on and come and join us! You'll get fit by doing good and have a great time!
If you can run, walk or cycle to the task that's fantastic! Our taskforce member Kathy will great you at the task. Please bring your own gloves and remember to keep your distance at all times.
This week we had two big birthdays and we had a fab time celebrating on Zoom!
Kathy turned 50 this week! Huge congratulations! She got 50 squats from each one of us to mark the day! I turned 40 and was given 40 crunches, YAY!
A lockdown birthday might be a bit different but catching up for a joint birthday Zoom party was absolutley brilliant! It was so nice to chat and see what everyone has been up to! Thank you all for coming along!
For those who are already going outside for their daily walk/run and can do litter picking safely in the area without too many people.
Litter picking is naturally socially distanced and can be done on your own. We all need a bit of motivation so please stay local, be safe and keep moving!
Olympics - prizes and accolades will be awarded for
- 1. The weirdest rubbish item found
- 2. The most interesting litter picking location
- 3. The best (funniest) selfie
Oh yes. Clàudia is training. This is how the greatest atheletes on earth are made. Clàudia is making it happen. They logged their first training run on the GoodGym site; extraordinary things are sure to follow.
Clàudia has got Strava connected. Strava is a great way to track your progress.
