I was a last minute decision to attend the SHP allotment client session this week as Lorena (task owner) asked for support with some special visitors. On arrival we found out the visitors also had a last minute decision…they weren’t coming! The clients and helpers shrugged it off and we all got to work weeding the flower beds which have suddenly got very overgrown, and finishing cutting back the grass between the beds. It was good to see the client who’d asked for his own plot arrive, he was very appreciative of the cutting back GGR had done for him and got stuck into turning the earth over. After a rainy start the sun came out and we all started feeling a bit warm so Lorena found a good use for the dead tree as a coat rack. 😄
