As I’d said I would last night, I called M to check if she was okay she didn’t sound in a good place (physically and mentally). She sounded much brighter and told me that she’d had a fall later last night and landed in A&E. She asked if I’d posted her a birthday card as she had some cards to open on her Big Day tomorrow - I explained that I’d written it but was yet to pop it in the post (more about that in deed number 2). She told me about the changes that would need to be made for her to go home and was showering the A&E team with praise. Whilst it was so sad to hear she’d fallen, I was relieved to hear how well cared for she felt and to hear her more like herself
