Hounslow Mutual Aid ran a donations drive on Saturday 20th June to collect long life food to distribute amongst various charities and food banks in the Borough.
Unfortunately, my boyfriend was meeting my parents that day (it went well!) So I was unable to drop off all the donations I had sourced to the Tescos in Brentford. However another local volunteer kindly offered for me to deliver items to her and she would take to the donation point with her!
So, I arranged to drop off lots of items along with some PPE - some gloves and face masks to her address early in the morning to be taken to the Mutual Aid drop off location later.
Team work makes the dream work after all!
