Worthing Training Canal Cracker
11 GoodGymers made their way 17.0km on a training session in Islington.
- Sunday, 31st of January 2016
10 wonderful GoodGymers met at Angel Tube station on a drizzly day to conquer the canals of Islington, Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham.
As people registered runners went off in pairs to ask local shops and cafes to display some GoodGym Leaflets - 7 minutes and 50 leaflets displayed around Angel (including Oxfam, Sainsbury Community Board, Holland & Barrett and an Independent Cafe) - wonderful!
We preceded to run onto the canal to escape from the traffic and streets for 17.5km of beautiful January running. We picked Andy Lulham up at his boat, great high five Andy!
Great chats were had on the run and everyone was very patient and supportive as always on GoodGym runs. We finished our run with a lap of Victoria Park before heading to the pub for a lovely roast - yum!
Same again next week?! I think so!
