Willow and Lulu

This afternoon I visited Ms W in her care home. She spends most of her time alone, with only the TV for company, and loves having someone to chat to. We had pastries with coffee and caught up on what we've been up to. I reported on the news that the two budgies in the entrance hall, Willow and Lulu, are still there and looking more relaxed now, in their new place by the window. Their owner is in the hospital and they are being looked after by the care home staff. The budgies are not very chatty, not when I come by anyway... still, I say hello to them. One day they may reply to me. 😊
