No stripy jumpers or red beanies. Instead a pub quiz photo round for Richmond GoodGymers to identify where I took Mrs B‘s dog Molly on today’s walk.

She wasn’t too happy to be taken over two river bridges. I felt rather awful almost dragging her over Twickenham bridge but it seemed important that I asserted my ‘Alpha dog’ authority and didn’t carry her again. Do dogs suffer from vertigo? Molly seems to get frightened when the bridge construction is open and she can see right down, through the gaps at small dog eye-level , to the Thames below. I can empathise as although I don’t normally suffer from vertigo, I’m not a fan of cliff edges

Answers:
1. The newly teak-oiled doors of the Richmond Sea Scouts boathouse.
2. Asgill House, 1 Old Palace Lane. A palladian villa built by Robert Taylor as a summer residence for Sir Charles Asgill, City banker and Lord Mayor. It stands where the Richmond Palace brew house used to be.
3. Steps down to the Thames near Asgill House with Twickenham bridge in the distance.
4. Casa JP
