Rob and I enjoyed a good work out in the sunshine today involving lots of digging to help the community team in Ham to set up a new flower bed feature. We started with lifting and moving some turf to get the wheel started. It wasn’t too tuft to get the circle set and we were ready to begin on the trenches. We dug deep and got some good muscle work out of our time in the trenches. With a problem of some thick roots getting in the way Rob saw a solution. A saw was quickly borrowed from some neighbouring builders and we were back on track with the spokes of the wheel taking shape. With the wheel barrows filling up, we were making great progress moving worms and turf. We’re looking forward to coming back in a few weeks’ time and help with the planting too.
