Today Jonny went down to Hill Hook Nature Reserve to help out the volunteers.

The task was to remove all the leaf dock and bramble to help reduce nutrients in the soil, so that wild flowers can go, as they will no longer have to compete with the leaf dock and bramble!

Jake from the Wildlife Trust was down to help guide events. It was a great morning, with plenty of exercise, much better than any gym workout with all the digging, you can see we even saw a frog hopping about aswell!

Keep your eyes out for more conservation Missions coming up with the Wildlife Trust. The next one being in a couple of weeks at Moseley Bog :)
