Community mission

What do you get when you cross an apple with a Christmas tree? A pineapple

Another Friday afternoon well spent at the Real Junk Food Project. I had a wide variety of tasks to tackle this afternoon: unpack boxes of energy gels and bars that had been donated by Runners Need (very GoodGym appropriate!), sort through a couple of hundred pineapples to decide which to compost, and deliver another 10 food boxes. Turns out Leeds is pretty hilly, so lugging boxes up and down sets of stairs to find people's addresses ended up being a great workout!
