I signed up to the mission of checking in on Ms N in her flat as she is waiting for an eye operation and she may be isolated during this time.

Ms N lives a short stroll away from my flat and I enjoyed the nice weather on my walk over. Once the correct flat was located, I persistently tried the doorbell and knocking on the door for over 10minutes but no one replied. I found the phone number for Ms N and gave her a quick call; she confirmed she was not at home but that she was fine and she was very grateful for the call.

Although I did not get to see her face to face, I felt happy that she was fine and appreciated me calling her.
