We followed a familiar Thames-side circuit heading out along Ducks Walk, but Molly was terrified about going across the Richmond Weir. She hates river bridges where they are ‘open’ and she can see down to the water below. So I resorted to carrying her across. Once on the other side she was delighted to be let off the lead in Old Deer Park and was tearing round in mad-for-it, daft, crazy-happy circles on the grass.
