GoodGym Newcastle has picked up the idea of the litter picking relay and we’re running with it, aiming to have someone picking up litter in our community each day in January. Liz got us off to a great start yesterday and I picked up the baton today. For the third day in four I got wet feet as I did a quick lap of a very wet Paddy Freeman Park! It only took half a lap to fill my bin bag - should’ve taken more than one bag! Worth getting out for the view of the very active Jesmond Dene waterfall. Not so great for the Rather Large Puddle across the path! Handing over the baton to Anji and her group session tomorrow - check out the website to sign up to join her!
