SUNDAY FUNDAY GROUP RUN

A fabulous Six ran 4k to Lyncombe vale allotments to cut back a hedge of over hanging willow to allow the young apple trees to flourish in the coming season

Welcome to Debs from Brizzle

Mark was stake master today in charge of removing the old canes and protective wire with the help of Debs and Alison and driving in new more sturdy stakes with Steph's help.

Mary and Sarah were in charge if sawing and lopping through the willow to open up the sky to the wee apple trees to give them a chance to grow. Sarah our resident doctor learned a new saw skill and discussed a green stick fracture but lets hope she doesn't start amputating any limbs.

WE WORKED OUR MAGIC FOR AN HOUR

We even made a video before heading back downhill to the leisure centre to enjoy a giid old stretch out and chat about what fun we had today.

January challenge just became more achievable for GOODGYM but lets have everyone signed up for Tuesday nights run to a new location.

Thanks to Ben from Cardiff for todays pun and lovely Mary for back marking again.
