Following on from a group Parkrun effort we ran the short distance over the steep hill to People's Park where some young ash trees growing over the neighbours gardens needed clearing to help the Friends of People's Park maintain this Green Flag park.

Weilding saws and loppers we cleared the space of ash saplings and left a pile of logs for local residents to pick up for their wood burners.

We'll be back here next month for the next task!
