Walk this way, talk this way 🧡💜

On a beautiful sunny morning, 25 young people, and a few adults as well powered their way around the 2K course at this lovely course. At the briefing two juniors were pleased to receive their 1/2 marathon and full marathon wrist bands. A wonderful achievement.I was Timekeeper today so plenty of encouragement given to cross that finish line. The warm up today had a Disney theme, everyone enjoyed that, including us volunteers 🤣The spirit of Parkrun ethos is always present at Junior Parkrun, but today it was lovely to see a group of three juniors walking the 2K together, whilst enjoying a chat, together, really enjoying themselves.
