Another enjoyable session with Ms L who has MND and is unable to use her hands to sort the contents of the boxes that she brought from her previous home. Today we found a lot of certificates for courses that she had taken after leaving school including typing and shorthand at her then local FE college. I went through the certificates that I had accumulated from a similar time period which included Grade 3 piano. Our consensus was that hers were more use than mine in employment terms but neither were of any lasting use.

There was lots of laughter and reminiscing which was followed by tea and cakes. It’s was a lovely way to spend any afternoon.
