Unexpected surprises

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Windsor and Maidenhead.

Mrs S had forgotten that I was coming to see her today, but she was pleased to see me nonetheless. As I walked into the room I was greeted by sudden Christmas music, courtesy of a noise-activated Christmas ornament! Didn't half make me jump! Mrs S was not very happy as her daughter and grandchildren had been unable to visit over Christmas due to illness. She gets quite lonely, but we did find some nice things to chat about, and I hope I was able to brighten up her day a bit
