Two Newbies Bamboo-zled by the Gardening

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hammersmith and Fulham.

Rebecca and I, on our first and second ever missions respectively, were swept up from outside the house by Ms A on her way back from visiting an exhibition at the National Gallery. Ms A got class.

We were shown into the kitchen to explain our task - Ms A wanted us to tackle the overgrown front garden and bring it back under control. Up first was the bamboo plant, so donning our gardening gloves and secateurs, we attacked. Having successfully dispatched the bamboo, rounds 2 and 3 were the brambles and the leaves covering the garden.

Seven bags of garden waste later, we were piled with raspberries and water by our lovely host and waved off on our merry way.
