Its not every day you get asked to move a piano, but today would be that day.

** 4 brave souls ran 9k and made a valiant attempt to move a piano for Open Age and then painted a giant wall white for Small Works.**

We headed south through the wondering tourists, sprinted through Green Park that has definitely got brighter than it has been for months. A sign that clearly spring is coming.

We bolted past the Queens residence and up through the back streets of Victoria, a wave to Steph at Small works and a message WE’LL BE BACK.

We still had half a mile to go before we hit the piano, we up’d the tempo and eased our way gracefully into Reynolds Place.

We met with Carolyn from Open Age who showed us the GIANT piano which sadly we were be unable to move due to its mass and the 130 stairs between it and safety. We smiled and agreed to return with more man and woman power over the weekend.

We hammered it back to Small works and painted the town White and not red. With big brushes and limited time we successfully managed to hit two birds with one big stone.

Wax on, wax off in full flow and lots of paint on kicks and clothes we left Steph a very happy lady.

Whats great about tasks like these is we started a few weeks ago when the area looked like an abandoned cave. With some hard graft from Small Works and Goodgym this area is now a pretty little hub for the local community to love, appreciate and make use of.

This is why we do what we do.

Till next time
