Mr A and I had met before, when I came to his house with Jess on a mission to move some carpets. This time though, I was here to help him complete the online form to help him apply for a blue badge.

Now, I’ve helped someone else complete a blue badge application before, and let me tell you, it’s blooming complicated! As someone fairly young and modern, and as someone who knows how to work a smart phone at least, even I found it a right faff.

Mr A and I settled down in front of the football (I promise we were filling in the online application, and not just watching the French try and equalise). I had poor Mr A up and down looking for his passport and his list of medications, and all the other supporting documents. We also had a little shoot out (not penalties, just a photo shoot to get a picture for the application)!

By the time the game finished 1-1, the application was sent off. Fingers crossed it all goes through, probably unlike the Hungarian football team to the knock-outs!
