Thunder & Lightning

It was a couple of weeks since I had been able to visit Mrs J, so she was pleased to see me and we had a lot to catch up on. I told her all about my holiday and how beautiful the Welsh Coast is. During my visit it suddenly started to rain heavily, and then without warning there was a sudden flash of lightning and an enormous roll of thunder.Mrs J's cat Chennai, who had apparently been fast asleep on the sofa, shot across Mrs J and skidded across the floor, scratching Mrs J on the way. She hid behind the sofa for a full 10 mins before she would come out again (the cat, that is, not Mrs J!). I waited for a gap in the rain before setting off home on my bike, but still got a good soaking. My weather app's prediction of 10% chance of rain had been a little optimistic!
