Two Goodgymmers made their way to help rescue Durham Hill tiny forest from an onslaught of grass and weeds. Particularly thistles!
With an assortment of gloves and tools, we gradually gave the trees a bit more breathing space and freed up the paving stone markers that are used for monitoring invertebrates. We even found time to compete in a few Olympic Weed events! See above for javelin with a weed, weightlifting with a weed, surfing on a weed... and many more!
There's still more patches to clear, so watch this space for more Tiny Forest tasks.
