Ruth and I met up on a sunny Saturday to help Mrs V clear out the weeds from her patio so that she can make use of her garden. We tackled both the back patio and the front of the house.

The main task was to pull out the weeds that were growing abund-ant-ly out of the patio. There were a few stubborn weeds so we needed some assistance from a pair of shears. Whilst we aren't horticultural experts, we could-ant help but think that some of the weeds were quite pretty!

We unsettled a little of the local wildlife but I'm sure they'll be ten-ants somewhere else soon.

Before we knew it, the weeds were a dist-ant memory. We even got a cheer from a passer-by who told us he had noticed the weeds and that we'd done a good job!

A quick sweep and the patio was looking brilli-ant!

Oh and in case you hadn't guessed, there were lots of ants too!
