"There were generous acts of hope, courage and care"

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.

After a beautiful run in the sun to Mrs I's house, I was handed the clearest shopping list I've ever seen. It meant I knew exactly what to get and even what to get if the original item wasn't in stock - a list of dreams!

Ran to ASDA and joined a winding queue and managed to get all the goods (including 8 pints of milk!) and then walked it back to her house. On the way, I passed GoodGym Wandsworth's home, Battersea Arts Centre which was looking lovely in the sunshine, so I gave my arms a rest and took a pic.

There are also some lovely flowerbeds right next to the Arts Centre which had the message, "There were generous acts of hope, courage and care" and it made me think of the whole GoodGym community right now and how proud I am to be a very small part of the big beacon of hope we are creating.
