After last week's successful first test drive shop for Ms D, everything felt familiar this morning as we ran through the list which consisted of a mix of repeats from last week and a few new items for which a bit of explanation was required. Once I had the list in my hand, Ms D then passed me some crisp £5 notes and £9 in pound coins and 50ps that she was keen to get rid of - I made it my mission to see if I could offload all the coins.

Yet again the aisles were an oasis of calm, and it proved a pretty quick trip around to pick up everything that Ms D had asked for, albeit with a few substitutes for brands that I just couldn't find anywhere. When it came to pay, I couldn't quite get the maths to work to use up all the coins, but with judicious use of a spare 1p coin, at least I came back to Ms D's with mainly only 50ps in my hand...
