Sharon and Samia arrived on a sunny Sunday morning that definitely did not feel like mid-November. We were tasked with trimming the lawn, weeding and cutting back shrubs and brambles in the front garden for Ms Z. After losing her sight, Ms X had gotten rid of her lawnmower but had bought some brilliant brand new shiny shears for us to cut the lawn with instead. We had nothing to mown about - the shears were so snippy and gave us a bonus arm workout💪.

We battled with brambles but got to the root of the issue, cut back the shrubs, yanked out the weeds and gave the front garden a good tidy up. Ms Z came out to chat with us during the mission and it was lovely to hear how she used to enjoy gardening and so appreciated the work we’d been doing.

After the mandatory GoodGym mission selfie, we set off to enjoy the rest of our Sunday.
