The rainbow and the pot of gold

Well, only a shy little rainbow made it's appearance while I was walking to see Ms W this afternoon. But that has certainly brought some joy to an otherwise wet and gray day. And there was no pot of gold, but there was a slice of Red velvet cake that I'd saved from my most recent bake for Ms W. I found her sitting in her armchair, with her favourite ITV channel on and feeling a bit low. During my previous visits, she'd been fondly telling me about her past trips to the local garden centre, where she used to have coffee and cake. So, I quickly made a decaf coffee for her and laid out the cake and that certainly cheered her up and she then enjoyed her treat. Especially that she tells me she needs to put on weight... well, I have just what she needs for that! ☕🍰☺️
